After the last 4 frenetic months of organising, putting up, manning and then taking down both solo and group shows, I now have a brief moment to reflect, regroup, clear the decks and refocus before getting back to actually painting! To help me do this, I'm having an exclusive online studio sale of original work. Virtually all available original work on this site has been discounted to one extent or another and will remain so until the first day of December when, if not sold, it will revert to its original, struck through price. (The discounted price still includes the cost of shipping to anywhere in mainland UK).

After some wonderful feedback to my original pieces at my latest show, I have decided to expand my print & card offering to include some of it.
As well as 'Last Light Reflections' (pictured), I now have prints and cards of, 'Big Break', 'Cornish Break' & 'Glimmers' amongst others. Available here.
INTO THE LIGHT
24/09/25 - 15/10/25
For the second year running, myself, my brother and my Mum are exhibiting together at the beautiful Hilliers Arboretum, just outside Romsey. Together, we have a large selection of new work on show. From my brother's beautiful original oil paintings, to my mums etchings, collographs and monoprints and of course my acrylics, there is loads to see and something for every taste and budget.
Alongside the originals we also have a large selection of cards and my open edition photographic prints.
The gardens themselves are magnificent, especially now as the seasons and colours change, so I strongly recommend a visit. All of us, including my long suffering Dad, are taking turns to look after the exhibition, so do pop in and say hi.

Next up in this year’s events calendar, I'm joining my talented friend Katy McIntyre Brown at her beautiful converted Post Office home / studio in Lockerley Green for the 2025 Hampshire Open Studios (Guide location 110)
Katy’s work has featured in ‘Country Living’ & ‘House & Garden’, as well as this year’s Chelsea Flower Show surrounding the beautiful Horatios Garden stand there. As well as her original botanical paintings, there will be fabrics, wall papers, table-cloths and tea towels available, all featuring her stunning designs.
A selection of my paintings, prints and cards will sit alongside hers.
We are open 10am – 5pm every day, from Friday 22nd August through to close at 5pm on Monday 25th August. There is a Private View on Thursday 21st August 5-7.30pm before we open officially. If you want to come and join us at this, please email either myself benwinterart@gmail.com or Katy@katymcintyrebrown.com so we can establish how much cake and wine we need!!
SEA, SKY

Very excited to be one of the first artists to exhibit in this fantastic new space (sdee below). The big white walls and polished floor lend themselves to larger scale work, so you'll be seeing a bit more of that from me in this solo show about the Sea & Sky! I will be in and out throughout the exhibition and will be at the gallery every Wednesday for the day (16th/23rd & 30th) should you have any questions or enquiries about my work or me!.

11/12/24 - New Prints now in Stock
Finally, my new prints have arrived. I've changed the paper I'm having them printed on and am happy to say that the Hahnemule William Turner 310gsm paper I'm now using gives even better results and image reproduction. So, if you like my paintings but cannot necessarily afford the original, these open edition, archival prints on museum quality paper should still allow you to have a piece of my work on your wall for a fraction of the cost.
Whilst my prints are not limited edition (this unnecessarily increases the cost), exactly like the best quality photogtaphic limited edition prints, they are printed using the best lightfast inks on the best papers and I personally sign and title each one.

27/11/24 - All existing cards are now back in stock and there are also 11 new ones to choose from, taken from some of my favourite pieces painted this year. All available to buy here and on Etsy whilst stock last.
New prints from my Hilliers Arboretum work and Cornish roadtrip, as well as local landmarks like Hengistbury Head, are also due to arrive shortly (hopefully in time for Christmas) . As soon as I have them, they'll be here, so do keep checking in.
23/11/24 - After a not insignificant amount of faff, yesterday I finally launched my etsy shop (etsy.com/uk/shop/BenWinterArt) where I am currently selling my prints and cards.
So, if for whatever reason, you're not confident or comfortable buying from me direct (understandable!!!), you can now also purchase my wares via this reputable arts and crafts retail site and pay in a plethora of different ways! It's just the cards and prints for the moment, but maybe I will look at putting some original work on there in the future.
